The is the B-Contagious Energy Loop©. We are contagious whether we like it or not.

As leaders we have a choice - to B positively contagious, or not. We can use our energy to generate positive energy in our teams, in turn replenishing our energy.

Alternatively, we can be in the shadow loop, where energy is depleted.

Why we are contagious!

B-Contagious is based on our scientific research, which demonstrates the positive link between a leader’s energy and how their team feels (and performs). Leaders are contagious whether they like it or not! B-Contagious is on a mission to make sure that leader's can understand, harness and unleash their energy.

The Energy Source

Leaders bring along two energy sources that have contagious potential:

1) Passion (high intensity)

2) Relational energy (low intensity)

The stronger the passion and relational energy in the leader AND the stronger the passion and relational energy display (how intensely the employees can sense it), the greater the potential impact of the two energy sources. Whilst these sources of energy vary in intensity, their impact is equally powerful.

The Energy Connection

The employee perceives their leader’s passion and relational energy. Each source is perceived independently. The employee connects to the two energy sources and compares it to their own energy. This creates the energy connection.

The Energy Transfer / Energy Response

The energy connection and subsequent comparison leads to an energy transfer which changes how the employee feels.
